Expecting to like people upon meeting them is a fabulous quality to have. A successful leader engages with people in a friendly and open manner and convey warmth and appreciation. A people person. • Compassionate Effective leaders are compassionate to other team members in their time of need or distress (we all experience these times). They stop to lend a helping hand. • Self disciplined To have the ability to do the things that should to be done, when they need to be done. A good leader has the self discipline to keep on going without relying on someone else to push them.
• Consistent Leaders who usually display sensible behavior will click with team members’ expectations and will motivate the team. Team members will be certain of where they stand in the organization and what is required of them. A lack of consistent leadership results in team members feeling uncertain as to how their leader will react in certain situations. Effective leaders reassure their staff by always striving to present the same high levels of leadership today as they did yesterday and as they will tomorrow.
